Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore that lasts through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
